Sophie, an 11-year-old girl from Switzerland, loved the cold weather and snow.
She lived near the famous Swiss Alps and was an excellent downhill skier on the slopes of Jungfrau Mountain.
One snowy day, while skiing down her favorite slope at Grindelwald, Sophie heard a faint cry and noticed something moving in the snow.
